Linaria seeds
Native to Italy, Linaria looks remarkably like baby snapdragons. It was called "Fairy Flax" when the genus was introduced into gardens in 1872. A hardy annual, sow direct into the garden in early spring for blooms in about 6 weeks. Toadflax is a superb early summer garden edger and container annual. Beneficial insects, bees, and butterflies create a hive of activity around them, drawn to the abundant nectar-filled and pollen-rich flower spikes.
