Silene 'Sibella Carmine'

Silene pendula
An impressive cascade of tiny rose flowers is especially beautiful in pots and at the garden's edge in well-drained soils. Highly impressed with the intense color, bright semi-double flowers, and early flowering, the Fleuroselect judges were united in awarding this new variety a Gold Medal.

PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Classic spring bloomers now have a supporting player that just might steal the show. 'Sibella Carmine' is awash in vivid pink flowers that cascade over containers and carpet beds with a tumbling profusion of petite flowers. No deadheading is needed; they flower over a long season where summer nights cool down, spring to summer elsewhere. A lovely companion to the Violas, pansies, and primroses of spring in containers and cottage gardens.
