PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Salvia 'VIBE Ignition Purple' brings a superbly branched compact form to gardens and containers. Tolerant of both dry and humid heat; however, some afternoon shade in scorching summer areas is beneficial. It prefers soil lower in nitrogen, and amended with organic matter, such as compost added to a freely- draining soil. Deadhead to encourage continual bloom and where hardy, prune to just a few inches above the plant's crown in spring.
