Penstemon 'Harlequin™ Red'

Penstemon hyb.
We were wowed by this trooper, constantly in bloom from early summer until very late fall, its spires festooned with a carillon of bells rising above glossy, dark green leaves. Just as lovely in a large pot, drought-tolerant, and a joy to grow!

PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Attractive to bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies, but not deer, beardtongue provides a welcome vertical focal point in sunny gardens. It prefers well-drained soils–plant in raised beds in heavy soils. Deadhead or cut for bouquets to keep the show going until frost. It is easy to grow and a profuse bloomer throughout the season. Cut back in early spring before new growth fills in.
