Milkweed Seeds

Monarchs and milkweeds go hand in hand, for they are the genus Monarchs lay eggs on and the hatching caterpillars munch. Grow groups of Asclepias to help these vulnerable butterflies. Some species, such as common milkweed require a cold moist period called stratification to help germination, others germinate at room temperature.
