Heliotrope 'Select Amaretto'

Heliotropium arborescens
A sensational almond extract fragrance wafts from the lilac blooms, sweetening the warm summer air, especially as evening draws in. This old-fashioned favorite graced our fragrant garden this year and attracted tiger and black swallowtails that uncurled their tongues and sipped from the clusters of lavender blooms.

PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Heliotrope attracts pollinators, including Swallowtails and Monarchs, and enhances borders of summer annuals and patio containers with its sweet almond and vanilla fragrance. Pinch when setting out, use an even hand when watering, and deadhead for flowers until frost. Flowers well indoors in winter in a cool situation and misted often. Caution: all parts contain some toxic elements.
