Easy to grow but the flowers are not pretty. Large pink, almost beige, flowers that get lost in the garden.
This will be a 3rd or 4th summer of the 12 I managed to grow in my zone 6a garden in a partly sunny location, well-drained. I find that they are a pale pink instead of the standard orange-red of Maltese Cross, as the Select Seed catalog states. They are not a tall or large flower, so it's important to mix it with other colors in early summer so that the contrast enhances all. Blue or purple flowers would work, as well as white.
