I wasn’t sure about these at first. The seedlings grew into rather ungainly plants - large leaves, sticky... and then the flowers came. Started flowering in July and mid-September they are still plentiful. They did best in full sun but some planted in half shade still flowered but there were fewer blooms and it didn’t get as tall. Overall the plant grew to be about 5’ tall and about 3’ wide. The flowers do shrivel during the heat of day but open right back up as the sun begins to go down. There is a scent that only became noticeable as the evenings started to get cooler. These were a great surprise and exceeded expectations. I also planted the white version but prefer this one as the flowers are a touch more delicate looking and the color variations are so lovely. It will be interesting to see if they self sow, I have more seeds just in case.
