These little gems were a highlight of my zone 6 garden. The blooms were a saturated hue of an unusual orange/red color. I planted the papery seeds as instructed and I think most, if not all germinated. They grew quickly and easily under lights. If you are at all heavy handed when transplanting, as I am, be extra careful with the tender plants. I broke several and rabbits hungered for the rest. The survivors bloomed all summer and through a few light frosts that killed more tender annuals. They needed no additional watering. The photo was taken mid September.
