Asarina 'Snowwhite'

Asarina scandens
This delicate looking but strong growing vine has graced trellis work and scrambled among summer flowers since Victorian times. Still one of the best long-blooming vines, it thrives and blooms summer to fall, and should be given a trellis to climb early in its growth.

PLACEMENT & CULTIVATION
Asarina's sage green arrowhead-shaped foliage and dangling flowers are beautiful cascading from containers and baskets on the patio–close enough for you to observe all the butterflies, bees and hummingbirds that visit the trumpet-shaped blooms. This robust twining vine is easy-care too, for it sheds the spent flowers, no deadheading needed. Provide a trellis with small diameter canes for the delicate looking but wiry stems to twine around, and in warm summer weather it will climb quickly and bloom abundantly.
