Globe Amaranth 'Strawberry Fields'

Gomphrena haageana
The emblem of friendship from the Victorian age, globe everlasting's place in gardens extends far into the past, for to the Greeks, it signified immortality. Whorls of papery bracts in flame-kissed orange rise above the dark green leaves all summer and fall, shrugging off scorching heat and pumping out hundreds of flowers all season. Excellent cut for fresh or dry flowers. Tolerates humid heat.
