SOWING INSTRUCTIONS

Surface sow. Firm into growing medium and cover lightly with vermiculite.

Native to the Mediterranean, it has been in continual use throughout the centuries for its medicinal and edible properties. Deep blue flowers on spikes draw swarms of bees. Semi-evergreen, prune back in early spring and trim to shape if desired at any time. Allow some dropped seeds to self-sow and renew older plantings. Excellent in containers, herb gardens, rock gardens, and fragrant hedges.
