I ordered this geranium last spring, late in the season as it was one of the few plants available when I ordered. It looked interesting, and, when it came, I wasn't certain that it would hold up to the extremes of Colorado weather. What a surprise it turned out to be! Not only is the foliage a beautiful blue-green color, the plant had little trouble adapting to our Colorado weather extremes. I grew it on a third floor north-east facing balcony. It has been battered by extreme wind (30+ mph), hail, chilly nights and HEAT (100 degrees plus). Not to mention how DRY the air is here. The plant never seemed to mind, just kept growing. And then, in late August, it started to bloom....all over the plant came these lovely tall flower spikes which branched and were covered with small dark purple single geranium flowers. Again, it just kept on going, until we had the 6" of snow on 9/8/20, and lows in the twenties. Definitely a beauty...we called it our 'Goth" geranium because of the color of the leaves and flowers. Oh, and did I mention it attracted hummingbirds? Love this plant; hope it is offered in 2021 because I will buy it again.
