A staple of the carpet bedding craze of the Victorian era, coleus were loved for their brilliant colors and often unusual leaf shapes. 'Alabama Sunset' beautifully combines the colors of peach and lime green on the lance-shaped leaves. Part of the Sunlover series, it does well in humid heat and sun, and delays its light flowering until late fall. Rated exceptional in University of Georgia trials.
